Ep 3. The Ghost of Mater

Eventually, they discover that the ghost is not the restless spirit of Mater, but a malicious Akuma. The Akuma was created by the Millennium Earl, who takes over the bodies of the deceased and uses them to wreak havoc on the living. In this case, the Akuma took on the appearance of Mater's ghost and terrorized the villagers.

With their true enemy revealed, Allen and Yu engage the Akuma in battle. As they fight, the Akuma reveals its true form. It is a twisted and grotesque creature, partially made of metal and machinery. The Akuma is able to manipulate its body, allowing it to attack from unexpected angles and evade their attacks.

Despite the Akuma's strength and agility, Allen and Yu are able to defeat it. They use their exorcist powers to destroy the Akuma's core, effectively freeing Mater's spirit from its grasp.

As the sun rises on the village, Allen and Yu meet with Timothy again. They tell him that they were able to put Mater's spirit at peace and that she is no longer suffering. Timothy bids them farewell and thanks them for their help.

"The Ghost of Mater" is a thrilling episode that combines elements of horror, mystery, and action. It highlights Allen's skills as an exorcist and his unwavering devotion to helping the innocent. The episode also introduces new characters and expands the lore of the show, setting up future storylines and adventures.
