John Ross and Pamela find themselves in a bind when the cartel demands $1 million in exchange for their discretion regarding the compromising video. Refusing to back down from the cartel's demands, John Ross and Pamela turn to Bobby for help in raising the money. Meanwhile, Sue Ellen makes a bold move to secure funding for John Ross's methane extraction project, which puts her in direct conflict with the Ewing family. As tension mounts within the family, Emma makes a shocking confession to Ann about her own involvement with the cartel.
