Dallas is a drama series that aired on TNT from 2012-2014. This show is a continuation of the original 1978 series, which ran for 14 seasons, and follows the next generation of the Ewing family as they navigate the world of money, power, and betrayal in modern-day Texas.

The show's central characters are the Ewing family, who are the owners of the prestigious Southfork ranch. The patriarch of the family is J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman), who is a ruthless oil tycoon known for his cunning ways and ability to manipulate those around him. His two sons, John Ross (Josh Henderson) and Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe), are rivals who are constantly vying for control of the family business.

Jordana Brewster plays Elena Ramos, a young woman who grew up on the Southfork ranch and has a complicated relationship with both John Ross and Christopher. Meanwhile, Linda Gray reprises her role as Sue Ellen Shepard, J.R.'s ex-wife and mother of John Ross. Patrick Duffy returns as Bobby Ewing, the only member of the family who seems to have any shred of morality and is constantly trying to keep the peace between his two nephews.

The show introduces new characters, such as Ann Ewing (Brenda Strong), Bobby's wife who is haunted by her past, and Emma Brown (Emma Bell), a ranch hand at Southfork who becomes involved in a steamy romance with John Ross. Leonor Varela plays Marta Del Sol, a powerful businesswoman who becomes entangled with J.R., while Kuno Becker and Juan Pablo Di Pace play Christopher's business partners, who bring new opportunities and conflicts to the family.

Throughout the series, secrets are exposed, alliances are formed and broken, and the Ewing family must navigate through a series of twists and turns to stay on top. The show explores themes such as greed, corruption, family loyalty, love, and revenge, all set against the backdrop of the glitz and glamour of modern-day Dallas.

The show's production values are top-notch, with stunning cinematography and lavish sets that capture the opulence of the world in which the Ewings operate. The acting is also superb, with strong performances from the entire cast, particularly from Larry Hagman, who returned to the role of J.R. Ewing after a long hiatus and delivered a memorable performance that cemented his status as one of Hollywood's greatest villains.

Overall, Dallas is a thrilling and addictive drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. With its complex characters, intricate plotlines, and top-notch production values, it is a worthy successor to the original series and a must-watch for fans of drama and suspense.

Dallas is a series that is currently running and has 3 seasons (39 episodes). The series first aired on June 13, 2012.
