In Destination Truth season 2 episode 11, host Josh Gates and his team head to the Philippines to investigate two separate paranormal phenomena: the Haunted Forest and the Aswang.

The episode begins with a visit to the Haunted Forest, known locally as the "Bermuda Triangle of the Philippines." Legend has it that anyone who enters the forest at night is doomed to never return. The team sets out to explore the forest and see if they can uncover any evidence of paranormal activity.

As they make their way through the dense foliage, the team begins to experience strange occurrences. They hear unexplained noises and feel as though they're being watched. Temperature readings show sudden drops in temperature, despite there being no breeze. And when they set up a thermal camera, they capture what appears to be a heat signature moving through the trees.

Despite feeling unnerved, the team presses on and eventually comes across a clearing in the forest. Within the clearing, they discover a number of makeshift shrines, filled with offerings and trinkets left by locals in an attempt to ward off evil spirits. Suddenly, they hear the sound of footsteps coming toward them, but when they turn to look, there's no one there.

Next, the team heads to the small town of Capiz to investigate reports of the Aswang, a mythical creature resembling a cross between a vampire and a werewolf. Locals have reported sightings of the creature for generations, and many believe that it's responsible for a number of disappearances in the area.

To begin their investigation, the team speaks with a local shaman who claims to have encountered the Aswang himself. He tells them that the creature is attracted to the smell of blood, and that the only way to protect oneself is to wear garlic and carry a coconut with you wherever you go.

Armed with this information, the team sets out to explore an abandoned rice mill that's said to be a hotspot for Aswang activity. As they investigate the mill, they begin to hear strange noises that seem to be coming from all around them. They also discover what appears to be blood on the walls, but when they test it, the results come back inconclusive.

Despite not finding any concrete evidence of the Aswang, the team concludes that there's definitely something strange happening in Capiz. They even speak with a local politician who claims to have seen the creature himself while out on a campaign stop.

Overall, Destination Truth season 2 episode 11 is an eerie and suspenseful investigation into the paranormal legends of the Philippines. Whether you believe in ghosts and monsters or not, there's no denying that the team's experiences in the Haunted Forest and at the abandoned rice mill will give viewers plenty to think about.
