The first stop on the episode is a restaurant in Long Beach, California called Roe Seafood. Here, Fieri sits down with the owner, Chef Arthur Gonzalez, to learn about the establishment's focus on sustainable and locally sourced seafood. The duo also digs into a hearty BBQ baked potato loaded with brisket, pulled pork and cheese.

Finally, Fieri heads to a Portland, Oregon food cart called Nong's Khao Man Gai, where he meets the owner and chef, Nong Poonsukwattana. The cart specializes in a dish called khao man gai, a traditional Thai dish made with poached chicken and rice cooked in chicken broth. Fieri watches as Nong prepares the dish with care and precision, teaching him some of the key elements of Thai cooking along the way. Of course, no trip to a food cart is complete without trying some of the other offerings, and Fieri samples the cart's crispy chicken wings and crispy fried tofu.

Throughout the episode, Fieri highlights the dedication and passion that each of the chefs and owners have for their restaurants and dishes. He also showcases the diverse range of flavors and styles that can be found in local establishments across the country. Whether you're a seafood lover, barbecue aficionado or Thai food enthusiast, there's something for everyone in this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
