Ep 3. Cruisin' In Cuba

In the third episode of season 25 of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, host Guy Fieri travels to Cuba to explore the country's growing food scene. The episode is titled "Cruisin' In Cuba" and showcases the unique culinary offerings that Cuba has to offer.

In Trinidad, Guy visits a family-owned restaurant called San José. The restaurant is set in a traditional colonial home and is known for its hearty stews and soups. Guy meets the matriarch of the family, who prepares a classic Cuban dish called ropa vieja, a tender beef stew served with rice and beans.

At a local food festival, Guy samples some of the more unusual foods that Cuba has to offer. He tries a dish made from moringa, a superfood that is said to have health benefits, as well as a type of grilled corn bread called arepa.

The episode also includes a visit to a farm where Guy learns about organic farming practices and catches his own lunch, which is prepared by the farmers. In addition, he visits a cigar factory and learns about the process of making Cuban cigars, which are famous for their quality and flavor.

Throughout the episode, Guy highlights the vibrant culture and history of Cuba, as well as the excitement and innovation that is taking place in the country's food scene.
