In Los Angeles, California, Fieri goes to a Korean restaurant called Kobawoo House, where he tries their famous pan-fried dumplings filled with pork and vegetables. He also visits Phorage, a Vietnamese restaurant, where he samples their banh mi sandwich and pho soup. Finally, Fieri heads to New York City to visit La Morada, a Mexican restaurant that focuses on the cuisine of Oaxaca. He tries their tlayudas, which are large toasted tortillas filled with toppings like meat, cheese, and beans.

Throughout the episode, Fieri not only samples the food but also learns about the history and culture behind each dish and the restaurant that serves it.
