Dino Squad was a live-action television show that aired on CBS from 2007 to 2008. The show followed a group of teenagers who were tasked with the duty of saving the world from rampaging dinosaurs that had been brought back to life. The show was a mix of adventure, science fiction, and action themes that was developed for a young audience.

The premise of the show was that an alien spaceship had crashed landed on Earth millions of years ago, and in it, there were several dinosaur eggs. These eggs were preserved in stasis until they were discovered by a group of scientists who managed to bring them back to life. However, this revival was not without consequences, and the dinosaurs soon broke loose and began wreaking havoc across the earth. To counter this threat, a secret organization called the Dino Squad was formed to fight the rampaging monsters.

At the center of the show were the four teenagers who made up the Dino Squad; Max, Fay, Rod, and Caruso. Max was the team leader, a brave and impulsive young man who was always ready for action. Fay was the brains of the squad, a girl who was always tinkering with gadgets and coming up with new inventions. Rod was the muscle, a tall and athletic boy who was well-versed in hand-to-hand combat. Finally, there was Caruso, the comic relief of the group who provided much-needed moments of levity in the show.

In addition to the Dino Squad teenagers, the show also featured a few other key characters. Professor Owen was the wise old mentor who provided the team with their mission briefings and scientific advice. Dr. Aikens was the villain of the show, a sinister mastermind who was responsible for unleashing the dinosaurs on the world.

One of the unique aspects of the show was its use of special effects. The dinosaurs were all CGI creations, which gave the show a futuristic and otherworldly feel. The quality of the CGI was impressive, especially given the show's relatively limited budget. The visuals of the show helped bring the dinosaurs to life and made them feel like a real threat. In addition to the special effects, the show also featured a number of practical stunts and fight sequences that added to the action-packed feel of the show.

The show had a number of episodes that followed the Dino Squad as they battled the rampaging dinosaurs. Each episode featured a standalone story that saw the team encountering a new type of dinosaur, fighting to contain it and stop it from causing harm. There were also a few episodes that focused more on character development, exploring the relationships between the different members of the Dino Squad.

Overall, Dino Squad was an entertaining and action-packed show that provided a unique twist on the dinosaur genre. The show's use of CGI and special effects helped bring the dinosaurs to life in a way that would have been impossible just a few decades ago. The characters were relatable, and the show managed to balance action with moments of humor and drama. While the show only lasted for one season, it remains a cult classic that is remembered fondly by those who watched it.

Dino Squad is a series that is currently running and has 2 seasons (46 episodes). The series first aired on November 3, 2007.
