In "Armored Like an Ankylosaurus / Campout!", the ninth episode of the first season of Dinosaur Train, Buddy and his family are excited to meet Tank Triceratops, a friend they haven't seen in a long time. Tank's species is heavily armored, and Tiny wonders if there's anything they can make to help her feel safer, too.

As they meet up with Tank, they get a close-up look at his armor, complete with spikes, clubs, and bony plates that cover his body. As they practice being like Tank and walking with all his weight, the Pteranodon family learns more about his lifestyle. Tank explains that he loves nibbling on tough plants, which help his teeth stay strong and clean.

Tiny continues to wonder if there's anything she can do to feel safer, so the Pteranodons ask Tank if they can spend the night with him during his camping trip. Tank hesitates, but finally agrees when he realizes that he enjoys the company of others. The group spends the night playing games and telling stories around the fire.

Throughout the night, Tiny learns more about the world around her and the creatures that inhabit it with her family. As she sees how Tank isn't afraid to change his behavior and adapt to new situations, she begins to feel empowered to do the same. The family wakes up the next morning to find that Tank has left, but he's left behind a little gift for Tiny that he thinks will help her feel safer.]]

Overall, "Armored Like an Ankylosaurus / Campout!" is an endearing episode of Dinosaur Train that teaches young audiences about the importance of adapting to change and learning from others. With playful animation and plenty of laughs, Dinosaur Train continues to delight audiences of all ages.
