In this episode of Disappeared, entitled "No Exit," we follow the case of 42-year-old Richard Collett who went missing in October 2008 from Wilmington, North Carolina. Richard was a devoted father, a successful entrepreneur, and an avid outdoorsman, but on the day he vanished, he left behind no trace of his plans or intentions.

Richard's disappearance was especially puzzling because he was in the middle of preparing for a fundraiser to support his son's soccer team. It was a cause that meant a lot to him, and he had been working tirelessly to make the event a success. But just days before the fundraiser was set to take place, Richard vanished without a word.

As investigators delved deeper into Richard's case, they uncovered several disturbing clues. The last time anyone saw Richard was on October 10th, 2008, when he was captured by a surveillance camera leaving his office. He was driving his black Mercedes and appeared to be in a hurry.

Richard's car was later found abandoned at a rest stop on Interstate 40 in Sampson County. The footage from the rest stop shows Richard walking away from his car on the morning of October 11th, wearing a gray hoodie and carrying a backpack. From there, he seemed to disappear into thin air.

When Richard's family and friends heard about his disappearance, they were shocked and heartbroken. They had no idea what could have happened to him, and they couldn't imagine why he would have left without letting anyone know where he was going.

As investigators began to piece together Richard's movements in the days leading up to his disappearance, they found that he had been acting strangely. He had canceled important appointments, failed to show up at work, and had become increasingly paranoid.

One of the most puzzling aspects of Richard's case was the fact that he seemed to have cut off all contact with his loved ones in the days before he vanished. His phone and computer were both missing, and he wasn't responding to any of the emails, texts, or messages that his family and friends were sending him.

Despite the many clues that had been uncovered, Richard's case remained a mystery. There were no solid leads, no witnesses, and no concrete evidence to suggest what might have happened to him.

In "No Exit," we follow the tireless efforts of Richard's family and the authorities to uncover the truth behind his disappearance. We see the many challenges they face, including the difficulty of tracking down witnesses and the frustration of dealing with conflicting reports and unreliable information.

As the investigation continues, we see the toll that Richard's disappearance is taking on his family and loved ones. They are desperate for answers, and they refuse to give up hope that he might still be alive.

In the end, "No Exit" leaves us with more questions than answers. But what it does make clear is the depth of love and determination that Richard's family and friends have for him, and the extraordinary lengths they are willing to go to find out what became of him.
