The third story is The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, which chronicles the story of schoolmaster Ichabod Crane, who falls in love with a wealthy farmer's daughter in the small town of Sleepy Hollow. However, his love is not exactly welcomed by the town's eligible bachelors, who engage in a vast array of pranks and outright torture schemes to try and dissuade him from his pursuit of the girl. In the end, Crane meets the legendary Headless Horseman and the story takes a captivating and mysterious turn.
