Ep 15. The Sun Makers (3)

In Doctor Who season 15 episode 15, titled "The Sun Makers (3)," The Doctor and Leela discover a subterranean society in the midst of a rebellion against their oppressive rulers, the Company. The Company controls all aspects of the society, including taxes, which are exorbitantly high and used to power a machine that creates artificial sunlight for the planet's inhabitants, who are forced to work tirelessly in factories to produce the goods that the Company sells at exorbitant prices. The Doctor and Leela team up with a revolutionary group led by the charismatic rebel, Mandrel, to overthrow the Company and free the oppressed people. Along the way, they encounter treacherous traps, dangerously clever bureaucrats and the charming and cunning head of the Company, the Collector, all while attempting to dismantle the machine that powers the artificial sun and prevent the Company from destroying the planet.
