Dream High 2

Dream High 2 is a Korean drama that follows the life of teenagers at the Kirin High School of Arts. The school is taken over by the entertainment group Oz due to bankruptcy. This group brings in their own performers which starts a competition between them and the students that are currently attending the high school.

Shin Hae-Sung is a student that does very well on the written exams in the school but needs help with her performances. She becomes friend with Jin and JB. They help her find the fun in dancing and singing. Jin dreams of becoming a rock star to ease the trouble in his life.

Another main character in this show is Rian. She needs some help with her performances but her manager is determined to make her a star. While she is auditioning OZ entertainment has the big boy band Eden set to play. JB gets to his audition on time but his partner is running late. Shin is able to get back stage and gets to meet the band. Eden is not supposed to perform past the curfew for young entertainers but they do anyway and that is considered to be illegal. Even Jin gets in trouble for singing on the streets past 10pm and ends up running away from the police.

Oz Entertainment does not allow Eden to play at the school anymore due to performing past the curfew time. Due to this now all the underage performers are having trouble finding work. No entertainment companies want to work with them for fear of breaking the law. Shin sees a contest looking for a singer and song writer. Since no age requirements are listed she decides to enter. She is having trouble finding others to work with her and edit her music since Eden broke the rules.

Dream High 2 will follow a similar storyline to Dream High and will pick up where most of it left off. There will be some new and different aspects to this show however. This show also features appearances by famous Korean singers that are well known and admired in South Korea. This show features a number of up and coming musical talents that will entertain the entire family.
