Ep 5. Scorched Earth

In Dual Survival season 7 episode 5, titled "Scorched Earth," survivalists EJ Snyder and Jeff Zausch find themselves in the hot and arid landscape of Arizona's Sonoran Desert. EJ uses his military training to gather dew from plants, while Jeff constructs a solar still to collect moisture from the ground. Their efforts eventually pay off when they find a precious water source, but they still must use a filtration system before they can safely drink it.

Once they have secured a water supply, EJ and Jeff must turn their attention to finding shelter. They decide to construct a shelter out of natural materials and use their experience to create a livable space in the harsh environment. They also have to contend with the dangers of flash floods and windstorms, which can be common occurrences in the desert.

As night falls, EJ and Jeff are pleased with what they have accomplished, but they still have one more test to pass. They must brave the darkness of the desert and find their way back to civilization. Using a combination of traditional and modern navigation techniques, they make their way towards a distant light on the horizon. Along the way, they must face unforeseen challenges and use their ingenuity to find a safe path.

"Scorched Earth" is a gripping episode that showcases the challenges of survival in one of the most inhospitable environments on earth.
