Ep 9. Sauvignon Beard

The ninth episode of the first season of Duck Dynasty is titled "Sauvignon Beard". Phil, dressed as a king, decides to give Miss Kay a ride on his horse, which, unsurprisingly, leads to chaos. While all this is going on, Jep is struggling to find a costume to wear to the Fair and is repeatedly shot down by his unimpressed brothers.

When the day of the Renaissance Fair finally arrives, the Robertson family is excited to sell their beer, dress up in their costumes, and participate in the various festivities. Willie is running the beer booth, and business is booming. However, things take a turn for the worse when Jase shows up in his rollerskates and begins to skate around the Fair, causing multiple accidents and almost ruining the entire event.

As the day goes on, the family has a blast participating in jousting tournaments, archery competitions, and other Renaissance-themed games. The highlight of the day comes when Phil and Si are selected to participate in a battle reenactment. Dressed in their full medieval armor, the two brothers engage in an epic fight, much to the amusement of the crowd.

As the day winds down, the family reflects on their experiences at the Renaissance Fair. Jase apologizes for causing chaos with his rollerskates, but the family forgives him and jokes about his antics.
