Dudley Do-Right: The Complete Collection brings together all the episodes of the beloved animated series that aired from 1961 to 1970. This classic show was created by Jay Ward, who also brought us popular cartoons like Rocky and Bullwinkle, George of the Jungle, and Super Chicken.

Set in the fictional town of Semi-Happy Valley, the show follows the adventures of Dudley Do-Right, a Canadian Mountie who is always on the lookout for dastardly villains and criminals. Dudley is a dim-witted and clumsy hero, but his heart is always in the right place, and he is determined to do his duty and uphold the law.

The show's humor is mainly derived from Dudley's many mishaps and the funny dialogue between the different characters. Dudley's girlfriend, Nell Fenwick, is often caught in the middle of his bumbling attempts to save the day, while Snidely Whiplash, the show's main antagonist, is always coming up with evil schemes to take over the town or get rich quick.

One of the unique features of the show is its use of puns and wordplay. The characters often use puns in their dialogue or in the names of places and things in the show. For example, Dudley's horse is named Horse, and the town's newspaper is called The Mountie Mart, which sells newspapers and martini glasses.

Each episode follows a similar formula. Dudley and his fellow Mounties receive a report of a crime or disturbance in the town, and Dudley sets off to investigate. Along the way, he encounters obstacles and challenges, but always manages to stumble his way to a successful resolution, much to the chagrin of Snidely Whiplash.

The animation style of the show is simple and colorful, with a distinctive look that is similar to other Jay Ward productions. The characters are all caricatures, with exaggerated features and unique personalities. The background art is also bright and cheerful, featuring mountain landscapes, small-town shops, and cabins.

One of the highlights of the show is the voice acting. Dudley is voiced by Bill Scott, who also provided the voice for Bullwinkle in The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Nell is voiced by June Foray, who was also the voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Natasha Fatale in other Jay Ward productions. Hans Conried, who was known for his work on Broadway and in television, provides the voice for Snidely Whiplash.

In addition to the regular episodes of the show, Dudley Do-Right: The Complete Collection also includes some special features. There are interviews with the show's creators and voice actors, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the show. There are also some rare and never-before-seen episodes of Dudley Do-Right, which were discovered during the restoration process.

Overall, Dudley Do-Right: The Complete Collection is a must-own for any fan of classic animation. This show has stood the test of time, and its humor and charm continue to entertain audiences of all ages. Whether you grew up watching the show or are discovering it for the first time, you will find something to love in Dudley's bumbling adventures. So dust off your Mountie hat and join Dudley on his quest to protect Semi-Happy Valley from the evil Snidely Whiplash!
