Ep 5. Chapter 5

In season 1 episode 5 of Eastbound and Down, titled "Chapter 5," main character Kenny Powers finds himself in a bit of a pickle. In the previous episode, he crashed his jet ski into a buoy while trying to impress his ex-girlfriend April. This episode kicks off with Kenny trying to figure out how to make the best of the situation.

Although Guy is initially friendly with Kenny, it soon becomes clear that he's only there to rub his success in Kenny's face.

Despite all of his setbacks, Kenny refuses to give up. He continues to believe that he can turn his life around and become the person he once was. But as the episode comes to a close, it's clear that things are only going to get more difficult for him.

Overall, "Chapter 5" is a character-driven episode that explores Kenny's complex emotions and his struggle to find his place in the world. It's a poignant and often hilarious look at a man who's desperate to reclaim his former glory but isn't sure if he has what it takes to do so.
