Eastsiders is a comedy-drama television series that premiered on Logo in 2012. Created, written, directed, and co-starring Kit Williamson, this critically acclaimed show explores the complicated and messy relationships of a group of friends in Silver Lake, Los Angeles.

The series stars Van Hansis as Thom, a struggling musician who has been cheated on by his boyfriend of four years, Cal (played by Williamson). The show follows Thom as he tries to move on from the heartbreak and figure out his life, while also dealing with the complications of his relationship with Cal.

Along the way, Thom confronts his own demons and struggles with addiction, as well as his fraught relationships with his family and friends. One of his closest friends is Jenny (played by Constance Wu), a struggling actress who is coming to terms with her sexuality and trying to make it in Hollywood. She forms a close bond with Thom over their shared experiences of heartbreak and disappointment.

Stephen Guarino plays Quincy, a flamboyant and outspoken friend of Thom and Cal's. He brings a lot of drama and humor to the show, but also has his own secrets and struggles. John Halbach and Matthew McKelligon play a couple, Ian and Jeremy, who are dealing with their own relationship issues while also supporting each other through tough times.

Another notable cast member is Sean Maher, who plays Paul, Cal's ex-boyfriend and father of his child. Paul's presence causes a lot of tension and conflict between Cal, Thom, and their friends, as they struggle to navigate the complicated dynamics of a modern family.

Traci Lords also appears in a recurring role as Gigi, a wealthy and eccentric woman who becomes involved with several of the main characters. Her character brings a lot of mystery and intrigue to the show, and adds to the complicated webs of relationships that make up the main cast.

Overall, Eastsiders is a nuanced and realistic portrayal of young adulthood and the complexities of modern relationships. The show balances moments of heartbreak and drama with humor and wit, while also exploring important themes of sexuality, addiction, and family. The ensemble cast is impressive and delivers strong performances throughout. The show is a must-watch for fans of indie television and LGBT+ representation.
