Eat St. was a cooking show that aired on the Cooking Channel from 2011 to 2014. Hosted by James Cunningham, the show focused on food trucks and their unique cuisine. From burgers to tacos to crepes, every episode featured different food trucks and their menus. The format of each episode was relatively straightforward. Cunningham would travel across North America, from Detroit to Los Angeles to Montreal, and visit different food trucks. He would introduce the truck and its owner, and then sample some of the dishes on offer. Along the way, he would chat with the chefs and learn about the inspiration behind their creations.

One of the things that set Eat St. apart from other cooking shows was its focus on street food. The show recognized that some of the most exciting and innovative food was being cooked up in food trucks, rather than traditional restaurants. By featuring these trucks, the show celebrated the diversity and creativity of the street food scene.

Another unique aspect of the show was James Cunningham's personality. He was a charismatic and entertaining host who clearly enjoyed his job. His enthusiasm for the food and the chefs was infectious, and he had a knack for getting the chefs to open up about their culinary philosophies.

Of course, the real stars of the show were the food trucks themselves. Each episode featured three or four trucks, and the variety was impressive. There were trucks that specialized in grilled cheese sandwiches, trucks that served Korean-inspired tacos, and trucks that focused on artisanal popsicles. Some trucks offered vegetarian or gluten-free options, while others were unabashedly indulgent. Whatever the style of food, though, the trucks all shared a commitment to quality and a passion for their craft.

Throughout each episode, Cunningham would highlight some of the standout items on each truck's menu. He would take a bite of a burger and exclaim over its juiciness, or taste a crepe and marvel at the delicate texture. His reviews were always positive and heartfelt, and he seemed genuinely impressed by the variety and quality of the food on offer.

In addition to showcasing the food itself, Eat St. also highlighted the stories behind the trucks. Many of the chefs had left traditional restaurants in order to pursue their dream of running a food truck. They talked about the challenges of launching a mobile business, from dealing with permits to finding enough customers. They also talked about the sense of community that they had found on the food truck scene, where chefs often worked together and supported each other's businesses.

Overall, Eat St. was a fun and entertaining cooking show that celebrated the diversity and creativity of street food. James Cunningham was a likable and engaging host, and the food trucks themselves were the real stars of the show. Whether viewers were foodies looking for new culinary inspiration or just fans of good food, there was something to enjoy in every episode.
