Eerie, Indiana is a supernatural-comedy-drama television series produced by NBC in the United States. The series, which aired for one season from 1991 to 1992, takes place in the fictional town of Eerie, Indiana, where strange and bizarre things happen on a regular basis.

The show follows the adventures of Marshall Teller (played by Omri Katz) and his friend Simon Holmes (Justin Shenkarow), who are both new to town. Marshall is a bit of an outsider who has a fascination with the supernatural and is convinced that there is something odd going on in the town. Simon is a more grounded and logical character who often questions Marshall's beliefs.

Marshall and Simon quickly discover that Eerie, Indiana is not your average small town. From haunted houses to disappearing neighbors to an empathic dog, the boys find themselves in the midst of one strange occurrence after another. Despite their differences, they work together to uncover the truth behind these bizarre happenings.

Along the way, Marshall and Simon meet a cast of eccentric characters. Marshall's parents, played by Mary-Margaret Humes and Francis Guinan, are both very supportive of their son's paranormal interests. Elvis (played by Steve Peri) is a conspiracy theorist who believes that the government is hiding proof of extraterrestrials. The school's vice principal, Mr. Radford (played by John Astin), is a bit of a mad scientist who experiments on the school's students.

The show's blend of humor, horror, and mystery made it a unique entry in the television landscape of the early 1990s. The series was notable for its use of pop culture references and nods to classic horror films. For example, one episode pays homage to the film Rear Window, with Marshall spying on his neighbors through his bedroom window.

Another unique aspect of the show was its postmodern storytelling. Eerie, Indiana was known for its self-referential humor, with characters often acknowledging that they were living in a TV show. For example, in one episode, Marshall and Simon meet their real-life counterparts, who bear a striking resemblance to the actors who play them.

Overall, Eerie, Indiana was a creative and entertaining series that was ahead of its time. Although it only lasted for one season, it has since gained a cult following and remains a beloved piece of 1990s nostalgia.

Eerie, Indiana is a series that is currently running and has 2 seasons (38 episodes). The series first aired on September 15, 1991.
