Ep 2. While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping is the second episode of Elementary season 1. As the investigation continues, Sherlock discovers a clue that leads them to the real culprit who was behind the hit-and-run accident. In a thrilling confrontation, they apprehend the suspect and get him to confess to the crimes. Meanwhile, Joan has been dealing with her own personal issues as she is trying to adjust to her new role as Sherlock's sober companion.

The episode ends with Sherlock expressing gratitude to Joan for her help in solving the case and tells her that he couldn't have done it without her. The two share a moment of mutual respect as they continue their partnership as detectives.
