Ep 21. The Man With the Twisted Lip

Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson are called to investigate the disappearance of a man named Boone, who was last seen at a flophouse in Brooklyn. Boone's wife, Kate, is convinced that he's been kidnapped and is desperate to find him. The detectives discover that Boone has a history of drug addiction and that he's been frequenting the flophouse to get his fix.

As they investigate further, Sherlock and Joan come across a connection between Boone and a man named Tobias Gregson, who was previously a detective in Scotland Yard. Gregson is now living in New York and working as a private investigator. He tells Sherlock and Joan that he's been hired by a woman named Mrs. St. Clair to find her husband, Neville, who disappeared after visiting the same flophouse as Boone.

Sherlock believes that there's a connection between the two cases and starts to unravel a complicated web of deceit and intrigue. He discovers that Neville St. Clair's disappearance is linked to a secret society of opium smugglers, and that both Boone and Neville may have stumbled onto something they shouldn't have.

As the investigation continues, Sherlock and Joan find themselves in danger from the smugglers, who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets hidden. They must use all of their skills to outsmart the criminals and bring them to justice.

Along the way, Sherlock also has to confront his own demons, as he struggles with his addiction and his past mistakes. He finds himself at odds with Joan, who is worried about his well-being and reluctant to enable his addictive behavior.

In the end, Sherlock and Joan are able to solve the case and bring the smugglers to justice. Boone and Neville are found safe, and Kate and Mrs. St. Clair are reunited with their husbands.
