Ep 13. Series 5 Episode 13

Embarrassing Bodies is a gripping TV show that deals with all kinds of embarrassing health conditions that regular people are too shy to talk about. In season 5 episode 13, the doctors are back with more stories to share, more cringe-worthy moments to witness, and more cases to manage. The episode is aptly titled Series 5 Episode 13.

The show begins with Dr. Dawn Harper, Dr. Christian Jessen, Dr. Pixie McKenna, and Dr. James Logan meeting their first patient of the day. A young man named Robert comes into the clinic with a rash on his genitals. He is hesitant to speak about it but after some reassurance from the doctors, he opens up. Dr. Logan carefully examines his genitals and diagnoses it as genital psoriasis. He suggests treatment options and reassures Robert that it is a common condition that can be easily managed.

Next up is a young woman named Katie who comes in complaining of a severe vaginal odor. Dr. Pixie McKenna examines her and asks her some questions to determine the cause of the odor. She diagnoses it as bacterial vaginosis and prescribes antibiotics to clear it up. Katie is relieved to finally know the cause of her embarrassment and is eager to start the treatment.

The next patient is a young man named Thomas who comes in with a lump on his lip. He is understandably nervous but Dr. Harper reassures him, and with a bit of poking and prodding, determines that it is a harmless cyst. Thomas is relieved to hear that it can be easily removed and is grateful for the doctors' help.

The show then takes us to the streets where Dr. Christian Jessen performs a bus stop clinic. A woman named Maria comes in with a small lump on her breast. Dr. Jessen examines her and determines that it is a cyst but advises her to see her GP to be sure. Maria is relieved to have received a diagnosis and is grateful to Dr. Jessen for taking the time to see her.

Back in the clinic, another young man named Lee comes in with a problem that has been affecting his confidence for many years. Lee has a severe case of gynecomastia or "man boobs". He is shy to take his shirt off and reveal his condition but Dr. Harper reassures him that they will help him in any way they can. Lee undergoes surgery to remove the excess breast tissue, and after a few weeks of recovery, he proudly shows off his new chest to the doctors.

The next patient is a young couple named Laura and Steve who are expecting their first child. Laura has been experiencing some pain during sex and is worried that it might affect her pregnancy. Dr. Pixie McKenna examines her and diagnoses it as vaginismus, a condition where the vaginal muscles go into spasm making intercourse painful. She recommends a course of dilators to help Laura relax her vaginal muscles and advises the couple to take it slow and communicate with each other during sex.

The final patient of the day is a woman named Fifi who comes in with a rosacea, a skin condition on her face that causes redness, pimples, and dryness. Dr. James Logan examines her and recommends a course of antibiotics and topical creams to manage the condition. Fifi is delighted with the results and is excited to finally have clear skin.

Series 5 Episode 13 is a must-watch for anyone who is experiencing any kind of embarrassing health condition. The doctors are professional, caring, and non-judgmental, making it easy for patients to open up about their problems. The show is informative, educational, and entertaining, making it one of the best reality TV shows out there.
