Enlisted is a television sitcom that premiered on Fox in 2014. The show revolves around three brothers, all of whom have joined the US Army, but each for different reasons. Geoff Stults plays Sergeant Pete Hill, the oldest brother, who is a natural leader and is committed to serving his country. Chris Lowell plays Corporal Derrick Hill, the middle brother, who joined the Army to prove himself to his family and to escape his mundane life. Parker Young plays Private Randy Hill, the youngest brother, who joined the Army to follow in his brothers' footsteps and to find his purpose in life.

The show begins with the three brothers being stationed together in Florida, where they are assigned to a unit that is responsible for training new recruits. Despite their different personalities and motivations, the brothers work together to train the recruits and to overcome the many obstacles they encounter in their military careers. Along the way, they receive guidance from their commanding officer, Sergeant Major Donald Cody, played by Keith David, and support from other members of their unit, including Sergeant Jill Perez, played by Angelique Cabral.

The show combines comedy and drama to provide an entertaining and heartfelt look at the lives of soldiers and their families. The show highlights the sacrifices that soldiers make to serve their country, as well as the difficulties they face when they return home. It also explores the relationships between soldiers, their families, and their communities, and the challenges that arise when these relationships are put to the test.

One of the unique aspects of the show is its focus on the relationships between the Hill brothers. Despite their differences, the brothers are all fiercely loyal to each other and share a deep bond that is tested throughout the season. The show also explores the relationships between the brothers and their parents, and how their military service impacts their family dynamic.

The show's humor is often derived from the brothers' antics and the dynamic between the different characters. Sergeant Pete is often portrayed as the straight-laced, by-the-book soldier, while Corporal Derrick is the wise-cracking rebel who challenges authority. Private Randy is the lovable goofball who often gets himself into trouble. Sergeant Major Cody is the tough, no-nonsense leader who pushes the brothers to be their best, while Sergeant Perez provides a female perspective and often challenges the brothers' views on gender roles and relationships.

The show is not without its serious moments, however. It tackles issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder, the difficulties soldiers face in transitioning back to civilian life, and the toll that military service can take on families. These issues are handled with sensitivity and empathy, and the show's creators are careful not to trivialize the very real struggles that soldiers and their families face.

Overall, Enlisted is an entertaining and heartfelt look at the lives of soldiers and their families. The show's combination of humor and drama makes for a compelling viewing experience, and the strong performances from the cast help to bring the characters to life. While the show only lasted one season, it remains a memorable and enjoyable part of the Fox lineup.

Enlisted is a series that is currently running and has 1 seasons (14 episodes). The series first aired on August 11, 2013.
