Ep 17. Witches' Flu

Emma is feeling sick, but it turns out that it's not just any kind of sickness. It's witches' flu. This means that she's starting to lose her powers, and she's not the only one. Maddie, Diego and Andi all start feeling the effects of the flu as well. In order to cure themselves, they need to figure out what's been causing the flu and how to stop it.

The first step is for the group to try and track down the source of the flu. They investigate different areas of the school, hoping to find some clues as to what could be causing their powers to fade. They eventually stumble upon a strange room in the school basement, which seems to be the source of the flu. However, before they can investigate further, the group is caught by the school principal.

The principal is not pleased with the group's behavior, and they are all given detention. While in detention, Emma and Andi come up with a plan to sneak back into the basement to investigate further. They manage to find some suspicious bottles of liquid, which they believe could be the cause of the witches' flu. They take a sample of the liquid and bring it to the school nurse for analysis.

After a few tests, the school nurse confirms that the liquid is indeed the cause of the flu. It turns out that the school's new science teacher has been experimenting with a potion that he believed would enhance their powers, but it ended up causing the flu instead. The group decides that they need to confront the science teacher and make him see the error of his ways.

They sneak into the science lab, but the teacher catches them. He explains that he only wanted to help the students become stronger witches and that he had no idea that the potion would cause any harm. The group convinces him that he needs to stop experimenting with magic and stick to science.

With the science teacher's experiments shut down, the group is left to deal with the witches' flu on their own. They come up with a spell to cure themselves and they all start to feel better. However, the experience has left them all shaken, and they realize that they need to be more careful with the magic that they use.

In the end, Emma reflects on the experience and realizes that she's grateful for the friendship that she has with her fellow witches. She understands that they are all in this together and that they need to rely on each other in order to grow as witches. She decides to take a more cautious approach to her powers in the future, but she knows that she can count on her friends to help her when she needs it.
