Watch Everybody Hates Chris

A highly popular and hysterical American TV sitcom comedy / drama about a young Chris Rock and his life experiences is called Everybody Hates Chris. The show is in a narrated format where an older, more mature Chris talks about his teenage life and the experiences that accompany it. This show was created by Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi. Everybody Hates Chris was written by Chuck Sklor. In addition, the show is livened up by the wonderful cast who includes the following actors: Tichina Arnold, Tyler James Williams, Vincent Martella, Imani Hakim, Tichina Arnold, Terry Crews, and Tyler James Williams.

The story line was based on the hard upbringing and teenage life experienced of comedian and actor, Chris Rock. The setting of the show is in a rough and tumble ghetto in Brooklyn, New York.

Throughout the show, the viewers are shown many of Chris's struggles such as bad grades, bullying and dealing with his crazy and dysfunctional family. The characters of Everybody Hates Chris include:

Chris Rock- Chris is a nerdy, cute, but misunderstood teenager in Brooklyn with his mother, father and younger siblings. Chris is always bullied by teens who attend his high school and the neighborhood teens and as a result he feels jealous of his popular brother Drew.

Rochelle- Rochelle brings the drama because she is the perfect example of a drama mama, with her big mouth and sassy attitude. She is very overprotective of her kids and makes sure to keep them in line so they don't become juvenile delinquents.

Julius- A cheap man, Julius is the money saver of the family and as a result he does everything possible to save his money such as use store brand items, search for the cheapest deals and even purchase food stamps.

Drew- He is the younger brother of Chris and with his cool attitude and cool looks, Drew is able to appeal to the in crowd and be considered highly popular.

Tonya- Manipulative and always looking for a way to get her brothers in trouble, Tonya always devises ways to get her brothers in trouble from whining to the parents to setting up schemes and tricks.

Greg- Chris's only friend, Greg is a nerdy boy who gives Chris support throughout the show.

  • It's the last week of school and while Drew decides he wants to try out for Amateur Night at the Apollo even without a talent at his disposal, Chris is informed that if he gets one more tardy he will have to repeat the 10th grade. But one day he misses the bus and arrives at school late, forcing him to deliver the bad news to his parents.

  • When Chris and his classmates are given the task of memorizing a World War II speech and reciting it in front of the class as a punishment, Chris cooks up a surprising way of postponing his presentation. Meanwhile, Rochelle has problems of her own when a customer puts a hex on her.

  • Chris finally manages to ask out Tasha and she accepts but then Chris doesn't expect that all his free time and only doing things that Tasha wants to do is the result of being with his long-standing crush. Meanwhile, Rochelle discovers Julius' shocking secret!

  • Chris refuses to do his chores as a show of strength against him mother's strict rules, causing Rochelle to tell Julius that her son is disrespecting her. Meanwhile, Mr. Omar decides to say whatever is on his mind since he believes he is dying.

  • Chris is finally able to buy a car when he gets his driver's license but when it is stolen and vandalized, Chris realises having ownership of a car is a huge responsibility. Meanwhile, Rochelle finds Julius' hidden racing form.

  • Chris accidentally hits Greg while test driving the janitor's car, landing Greg in the hospital with a broken leg and Rochelle taking care of him. Meanwhile, Julius must figure out a way to entertain Drew and Tonya when it rains the entire time they are on vacation at the beach.

  • Chris just can't say no when a criminal on the run asks him to hide a stash of marijuana. But where can he hide it without it being discovered? Meanwhile, Peaches and Rochelle clash when Vanessa insists Rochelle learn the new computer system at the beauty salon.

  • Coach Thurman spots Caruso bullying Chris and suggests he take up boxing to defend himself. Meanwhile, Julius has a new set of problems when he suspects Rochelle of adultery and catches the eye of a female neighbour.

  • Rochelle inadvertently prevents Chris from "cramming" for an upcoming PSAT test by taking the family out to a social event. Knowing a good score will help him get into college, Chris resorts to cheating.

  • In order to attend an age-restricted concert, Chris and Greg try to get themselves a fake ID. Elsewhere, Rochelle plans Julius' surprise party, and Drew tries returning a pair of faulty X-ray vision glasses he bought in the mail.

  • Chris and Greg decide to join the wrestling team to earn a varsity jacket in order to impress the ladies. Meanwhile, Rochelle attempts to lose weight by drinking a popular weight-loss drink which gives Julius a money-saving idea and Tonya jeopardises Drew's all-girl singing group.

  • Chris recieves help from a complete stranger during a city-wide blackout and decides to return the favour by helping the old man meet new friends. Meanwhile, Rochelle discovers she is one year younger than she thought she was and Greg searches for an identity.

  • New Year's Eve in Times Square is something Chris really wants this year but needs an adult to accompany him. And that is where problems arise... Meanwhile, Tonya and Drew make a bet to see who stays up the longest and Julius becomes a local hero.

  • Julius begins watching Oprah Winfrey on TV in hopes it will improve his marriage, but Rochelle believes he is having an affair behind her back. Chris gets a surprise when he sees who his "little brother" is after signing up in the Big Brother program.

  • When the dorkiest girl in school, who everyone calls "Big Bird", asks Chris out on a date, he agrees but only to spare her feelings. He soon realizes after spending time with her that he genuinely likes her.

  • Chris has a dilemma when a reward is offered for anyone who witnessed a shoot-out outside a movie theater. Chris was there but he was supposed to be babysitting Tonya and Drew - what will he do? Meanwhile, Julius and Rochelle have a very eventful anniversary at a Broadway musical.

  • Although warned by Greg that it's a bad idea, Chris starts to help the football team with their homework as a means to socialize with the cool kids. As a result, Chris ends up failing his own exams. Meanwhile, Julius begins a new job collecting dead bodies for Mr. Omar's funeral home and soon finds himself appreciating life more. He begins to buy numerous gifts for his friends and relatives, but then ends up with financial troubles.

  • Chris is thrilled when Jenise Huckstable asks him to the homecoming dance. His nerves begin to get the better of him when Jenise tells him that her father Dr. Clint Huckstable wants to meet him before the dance. Drew tries to get Doc to feng shui the store when he takes over Chris' hours.

  • Chris makes a deal with a classmate, Angel. He will help Angel improve his grades in school and in return Angel will help Chris get the attention of Maria, his latest crush. Rochelle reluctantly does a good deed by befriending an ex-con, Peaches, who has moved back into the neighborhood. But her plan fails when Peaches won't leave Rochelle alone. Meanwhile, Mr. Omar leaves his fish with Drew and Tonya while he is away.

  • As a first-time high school student, Chris is really looking forward to attending a school with some diversity. Unfortunately, when he arrives at school, he discovers that the school's new principal, Ms. Morello, has placed him in the only all-white homeroom. Meanwhile, Rochelle helps Tonya land a job at Vanessa's beauty salon, but the customers don't take kindly to Tonya's brutally honest comments about their looks.

  • Chris has finally finished with Junior high school, but his joy is tarnished when he discovers that his friend Greg will attend a different High school next year. Chris believes he can raise enough money to attend the same private school in which Greg will be attending. Meanwhile at home, Rochelle enlists Drew to be Tonya's ballet partner in her recital since her partner regular dance partner has been sidelined by an injury.

  • Rochelle gets a rash from Chris' Mother's Day gift, a knockoff perfume of an expensive brand she wanted. Meanwhile, Julius is determined to get back one of Chris' old toys from charity after discovering it is a collector's item.

  • Controversy ensues when Chris invites a white girl to a school dance as his date. Meanwhile, Tonya wants to take ballet lessons.

  • Chris is suspended from school after being caught with cigarettes, hoping to become one of the "cool kids." Tonya plans to blackmail him after intercepting the call from the school. Rochelle schemes to get back at Julius by parading around in suggestive clothing, after he decides to keep a coat he received from an ex-girlfriend.

  • Chris tries to enlist Julius to help him collect cans for an Earth Day project. Meanwhile, Tonya is reprimanded at school while mimicking her mother, causing Rochelle to try and stop yelling anymore.

  • Malvo, a career criminal recently released from prison, is helped by Chris to get into his school so he can make something of himself. Also, Rochelle helps a mom learn to handle her unruly daughter. Meanwhile, Julius is a long time Dodgers fan and is distraught to learn Drew follows the Mets, and the two make a bet on which team will win the three game series they are playing.

  • In hopes of earning enough money to buy tickets for a Run-DMC concert, Chris signs up for a Black Funeral Directors' scholarship sponsored by Mr. Omar, but finds the work deathly tiring. Meanwhile, an arm injury has Rochelle getting others to do her work for her.

  • After Drew learns that hockey great Wayne Gretzky is in town for a hockey game, he and Chris skip school in hopes of gaining his autograph. Julius and Rochelle go on a search for them after discovering they had skipped school.

  • Since Tasha had broken up with her boyfriend, Chris agrees to accompany her to an Easter pageant. Rochelle's hopes of winning the Easter hat-off competition for a fourth straight year may be dashed, since the owner of a hat shop has joined the contest.

  • Chris hopes to get his first kiss if he can get invited to a spin the bottle party. Julius uses Tonya to spy on Rochelle, after he becomes jealous when running into her former boyfriend. Meanwhile, Drew is determined to get back the money he had lent to Mr. Omar.

  • Chris tries acting like a "bad boy" to impress Tasha, a girl he has a crush on. Julius is chosen as employee of the month, but he and the family have a hard time redeeming his prize.

  • While the family is on their way to South Carolina to attend a funeral for a relative, Chris loses some of the trip money by gambling at the Port Authority while awaiting their bus.

  • Chris helps Kill Moves find his estranged mother as his school assigned good deed to accomplish over the holidays. Meanwhile, Julius decides it would be cheaper to celebrate Kwanzaa than Christmas.

  • Chris is angered by the attention given to Greg from Rochelle when he stays at their home while his father leaves town for the week. Meanwhile, Julius new job as a cab driver brings him adventure when he drives a passenger to Las Vegas, who happens to be a bank robber.

  • Chris becomes a reporter for the school newspaper and writes a fictitious story about a serial killer in his neighborhood, which causes widespread panic. Meanwhile, Rochelle campaigns for a slick city councilman, much to Julius' dismay.

  • When his entire family comes down with the flu, Chris stays with Mr. Omar and takes the opportunity to invite Tasha over to watch a Richard Pryor video when Mr. Omar goes out for the evening.

  • Chris is allowed to get a dog after his family's apartment is robbed, and he's charged with training it to be a guard dog. Meanwhile, since the TV was stolen, Drew and Tonya start making prank phone calls to pass the time.

  • Julius asks Chris to move the family car across the street, but Chris ends up driving to school to impress a girl. Meanwhile, Rochelle goes to traffic court to argue about a speeding ticket.

  • Caruso relinquishes his role as school bully after getting bullied himself. However, without Caruso to establish the school's power hierarchy and with everyone vying to fill his shoes, Chris and Greg realize they'd better come up with a fast solution.

  • Chris scores low on a standardized exam, which lands him a referral to the guidance counselor, Mr. Abbott. Chris tries to explain that the situation is a mistake, but Mr. Abbott forces Chris to undergo a series of mental exams and determines that Chris should be in remedial classes.
