Ep 3. Everybody Hates Basketball

Chris tries out for the basketball team at school, hoping to finally find a place where he belongs and can excel. However, things don't go as planned. Chris quickly learns that he's not as good at basketball as he thought and faces ridicule from his teammates and coach for his lack of skill. Despite these setbacks, Chris is determined to make the team and prove himself.

Meanwhile, Julius struggles to find a job and provide for his family. He takes on odd jobs, including selling hot dogs on the street, in order to make ends meet. Rochelle encourages him to apply for a job at the local supermarket, but Julius is hesitant to work there because of his pride and fear of being seen by his old colleagues.

Back at school, Chris turns to Doc, the school janitor and former basketball star, for help with his game. Doc teaches Chris some tricks and tips, but Chris still struggles to keep up with his teammates. He's even more disappointed when he finds out that his younger brother, Drew, has made the team without even trying.

Despite the many setbacks, Chris refuses to give up. He spends hours practicing and trying to improve his skills. His hard work eventually pays off when he makes a game-saving block during a scrimmage. The coach finally acknowledges Chris' perseverance and gives him a spot on the team.

Meanwhile, Julius finally decides to swallow his pride and applies for a job at the supermarket. He finds himself working alongside his old colleagues, who are surprised to see him there. Despite the initial embarrassment, Julius quickly finds his place and proves to be a hard worker.

In the end, both Chris and Julius learn valuable lessons about perseverance and humility. Chris realizes that success doesn't come easy and that hard work and determination are necessary to achieve his goals. Julius learns that there's no shame in taking a job, no matter how menial it may seem, if it means providing for his family. Everybody may have hated basketball and lowly job positions, but both Chris and Julius learned how to rise above their challenges and come out on top.
