Ep 1. Find Your Warrior

The season 5 premiere of Falling Skies entitled "Find Your Warrior" picks up several months after the events of the season 4 finale. The human resistance continues to fight against the alien Espheni overlords who have invaded Earth and enslaved humanity. The episode begins with a flash forward to a group of resistance fighters, referred to as the 2nd Mass, as they make their way through a heavily guarded Espheni garrison. They are on a mission to save a fellow soldier who has been captured by the aliens and is being held prisoner.

The episode then jumps back to the present time, and we see that the 2nd Mass is struggling. They are low on supplies, have lost many members, and morale is at an all-time low. The group's leader, Tom Mason, is also struggling. He is haunted by the loss of his wife and is having trouble finding purpose in his role as a leader of the resistance.

As the 2nd Mass prepares to send a scouting party to search for supplies, Tom is approached by a mysterious woman named Katie. She tells him that she has information that could help the resistance, but she will only share it with him. Tom agrees to meet with her, and she tells him about a group of humans who have found a way to defeat the Espheni. The catch is that they are located in a highly dangerous area, known as the "Red Zone."

Tom decides to lead a small group to investigate, and they are quickly ambushed by a group of Skitters (alien foot soldiers). They manage to fight their way out, but one member of the party, Tector, is badly injured. Tom is forced to make a difficult decision and leave Tector behind to save the rest of the group.

As they continue their journey through the Red Zone, the group is attacked by a group of human scavengers. Just as things are looking bleak, a mysterious figure appears and saves them from certain death. This figure introduces himself as "Cochise," a member of a friendly alien race called the Volm who have been fighting alongside the humans. Cochise informs Tom that he has been sent to help the humans defeat the Espheni once and for all.

Tom and his group continue on to the location of the humans who have supposedly found a way to defeat the Espheni. When they arrive, they find that the group is led by a mysterious woman who was once a prisoner of the Espheni. She reveals to Tom that she has found a way to use the Espheni's own technology against them, but in order to do so, they will need to find a powerful energy source.

The episode ends with Tom and his group setting out on a new mission to find this energy source. They are joined by Cochise and a group of Volm fighters who have been sent to help them. The stage is set for an epic final battle between the humans and the Espheni.

"Find Your Warrior" sets the stage for the final season of Falling Skies and introduces new characters and storylines that will play a crucial role in the resistance's fight against the alien invaders. The episode is action-packed and full of suspense, and it leaves the viewer eager to see what happens next.
