My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother." Rivers was rushed to the hospital last week after suffering complications from a surgery on her vocal chords.
There may finally be some optimistic news regarding Joan Rivers. Five days ago the snarky "Fashion Police" comedienne was rushed to Mt. Sinae Hospital after she stopped breathing during a minor surgery on throat. Tuesday, E! colleague Ken Baker told worried fans that Rivers is on the road to healing. He made the announcement during his weekly webcast. "I spoke to someone who is close to the situation and has been to the hospital," he said. "She is still in serious condition, however, the source I spoke to said things are progessing.

Rivers reportedly stopped breathing during a procedure on her vocal cords at a nearby doctor's office, and was in critical condition by the time authorities arrived to transport her. Kelly Osbourne has not won herself any points with Lady Gaga fans, after opening up to the magazine Fabulous about the Internet bullying they do. “I get called fat all the time. A big fat whore. Lady Gaga’s fans are the worst. They’ve said I should kill myself, that they hope I get raped. I mean it’s crazy but I’ve had this all my life and I just try and ignore it,” Osbourne told Fabulous. The magazine reminds audiences, “Some would say, however, that she has fuelled the flames… In 2009, she criticised the singer’s looks and labelled her a “Butterface”.
Forget the ring, momma. If you like it, then you better put some pants on it. Mother-to-be Beyonce was rocking a lot of leg at the NYC launch of her new fragrance Wednesday – evidently because she wasn’t wearing pants. As she recently told CNN, "It (pregnancy) was really difficult to conceal," she said. "But now ... I can be proud and excited about it, I'm having so much fun shopping -- it's great!" She must be having so much fun that she forgot an important part of her ensemble – the lower half.
Note to self: do not anger Kelly Osbourne. Apparently that chick holds a grudge... Osbourne showed up on E!'s "Fashion Police" with Joan Rivers at a recent taping, and the talk turned to Christina Aguilera. Rivers talked about how she "looked like Snooki's Scandinavian cousin" at a recent German fashion event, and that was all it took to light Osbourne's very short fuse. "Maybe she is just becoming the fat b**ch she was born to be. I don't know," said Osbourne.
