Meanwhile, Richard is on the hunt for the perfect lowrider parts. He travels to California, the birthplace of the lowrider culture, to find inspiration and to purchase parts for the Cutlass. He visits shops that specialize in lowrider parts, sifting through shelves of shiny chrome accessories, custom seats, and hydraulic pumps. Richard is determined to create a unique lowrider that will stand out from the rest.

As Aaron continues to work on the Cutlass, he runs into various obstacles. He discovers that the car's engine block has a crack in it, which means he has to replace the entire engine. He also finds that many of the car's original parts are missing, such as the steering wheel and dashboard. Aaron has to scour junkyards to find replacement parts, which is a time-consuming process.

Despite the setbacks, Aaron is making progress on the Cutlass. He installs a new engine, fixes the body damage, and replaces missing parts. Richard returns from his trip to California with a truck full of lowrider parts, eager to see the progress that has been made on the car.
