Watch Flipside

After several weeks of exclusively filming with Nicolas and Jules the rest of the crew finally lands in Haines. It's filling up fast and starts becoming crowded. With more than 9 riders and three filmers on site logistics bear the biggest challenges. Each night Justin and Brusti have to make sure how the next day will get will look like and what the group constellations are gonna be.

Shane left the crew at Mt.Baker after he received a phone call from Mikey Le Blanc who found some new bomb drops in SLC - Mikey's signature moves. Shane is also hooking up with new discovered talent Cale Zima and Keegan Valaika. Kids that are inspired by Mikey that are fresh new blood and motivated to push the limits of urban riding. Shane is bringing them along to their first bigger snowboard trip and is heading out east. Stormy weathers turn a few hour flight to Buffalo into a two day trip through blizzards. Once the crew reunites in Toronto the two new youngsters are showing the old dogs how it's done. While experienced riders Mikey and Matty Ryan don't get any shots Cale and Keegan are securing one banger after another.

The plan was to stay put in Jackson Hole after Travis Rice' event. The conditions were exceptionally good. Once the event comes to an end the crew is panicking out in different directions. Shane and Brusti together with Wolfgang Nyvelt are heading to Mt.Baker where a few days later the legendary Baker banked slalom is taking place. Simultaneously Gigi R?f is also heading towards Washington to film in the Cascades.

The crew lead by Justin Hostynek is enjoying their days in Gigi R?fs backyard in the Austrian mountains. Sunshine, cold temperatures and a good atmosphere keeping the spirit upbeat. JP Solberg is volunteering to be the new host for the Flipside intro.After Justin's riders are leaving he is taking the train deeper into Austria to meet up with the crew lead by Wolle Nyvelt. They have been setting up the ropes that are attached to the dam which will allow Justin to do following cams of Wolle sliding the dam. A nerve wrecking undertaking that of course isn't ready by the time Justin arrives.

In Europe the crew lead by Justin Hostynek is continuing their journey along with JP Solberg and Gigi R?f. Gigi shows them around his backyard where they find creative new features that suit the magicians Gigi and JP perfectly. Especially Gigi continuously proves to be a very versatile rider. Both guys keep getting amazing shots until it is time to hit the road again. Justin's crew is heading towards Vladyka to join forces in Switzerland.

The winter season 07-08 kicked off much more promising than the previous one. Lots of snow fell early on all over the northern hemisphere. In order to bring fresh flavor to the filming grounds most of the crews including US riders Danny Davis and Kevin Pearce start shooting in Europe.
