Ep 7. The Abducted

The Abducted is the seventh episode of the third season of the American science fiction television series Fringe. It follows the Fringe team as they investigate a series of kidnappings that seem to be linked to a man who lost his son years before and who believes that the kidnapper may have taken his son as well.

The episode begins with a young boy being kidnapped from his home in the middle of the night by a man in a gas mask. Later that day, Olivia and Peter arrive at the scene of the crime to investigate. They find that the kidnapper left no trace behind, not even footprints or fingerprints. They also discover that the boy's father, a wealthy businessman named Russel Simon, lost his own son in a similar kidnapping several years prior. Despite this, Simon refuses to help the FBI in any way and instead hires his own team of private investigators to look into his son's disappearance.

Meanwhile, Walter is dealing with some personal issues of his own. He is haunted by the memory of a woman who died during an experiment he conducted years ago and is struggling to cope with the guilt he feels over her death. This leads him to conduct a dangerous experiment with Olivia, in which he puts her in a sensory deprivation tank in an attempt to communicate with the dead.

As the investigation into the kidnappings continues, it becomes apparent that all of the victims are children of wealthy parents. The kidnapper, it seems, is targeting families who have the means to pay large ransoms. The Fringe team eventually learns that the kidnapper is using an experimental drug to put the children into a comatose state, making it easier for him to transport them to his hideout without anyone noticing.

As they continue to search for the kidnapper, the Fringe team realizes that Simon's own private investigators may have a lead on the case. They track down one of the investigators, who provides them with a clue that leads them to a warehouse where the kidnapper is keeping his victims.

In a tense and action-packed finale, the Fringe team storms the warehouse to rescue the children. As they move through the building, they encounter a series of traps and obstacles that the kidnapper has put in their way. With time running out, they race to save the children before they succumb to the effects of the drug.

In the end, the Fringe team comes together to save the day and bring the kidnapper to justice. Olivia and Walter also make some significant progress in dealing with their own personal demons. The episode leaves viewers on the edge of their seats, eager to see what the Fringe team will encounter next.
