It's sad but true: a big title is off the 2012 gaming calendar. Take-Two Interactive's "BioShock: Infinite" looks to be pushed back to Feb. 26, 2013 from its planned October 2012 release. Sources say the move was made to make major improvements that couldn't be squeezed in otherwise, and that the game will be "going dark" between now and its release.
Sony may be scheduling its PlayStation Plus service for a face-lift. This survey leaked by a reader to IGN suggests Sony is pondering revamping its premium content around tiered subscriptions with varying price points and benefits. What's your poison, folks? Free "Call of Duty Elite" access? More discounts? A bigger free-to-play downloadable library?

"Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" had a massive year. But with the dust having cleared and Activision having successfully produced another COD blockbuster, there's another in the line awaiting the spotlight. Nov. 13, "Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2" resumes what the blockbuster first "Black Ops" started. Enjoy this world premiere reveal, ahead of what should be many more details at June's annual E3 conference.

One day, you'll look back on this and tell your great-grandchildren that the digital dynamos that made the omni-tool technology in Mass Effect, Netflix-streaming brain implants and planes made of black-box material a reality got his or her start turning a building into a big-ass Gameboy.
Nintendo's next big thing might very well hit shelves with its standard low price point. Reports from Montreal-based blog Forget the Box, as cited by IGN, cite unnamed sources within the gaming mainstay company claiming Nintendo's new Wii U console will hit debut later this year with an introductory $300 price.
