Ep 2. Mama Gator Mayhem

The Gator Boys are back and they're on a mission to save Florida's alligator population. In Season 1 Episode 2, "Mama Gator Mayhem," the Gator Boys take on one of their most dangerous challenges yet - a massive 12-foot pregnant alligator.

Paul Bedard, the fearless leader of the Gator Boys, and Jimmy Riffle, his right-hand man, team up to capture the massive mama gator before she lays her eggs. It's a race against time as they have to catch her before she disappears into the swamp.

The Gator Boys start their search in a nearby canal where they've seen the alligator swimming around. They prepare their equipment, including a large metal hook, a catch pole, and a custom-made trap that they call the "Gator Gauntlet." As they paddle down the canal, they spot the massive gator sunning on the side of the bank.

They quickly jump into action and try to lure the alligator into their trap. Paul uses a fishing pole to dangle a piece of meat in front of her, but she seems uninterested. Jimmy tries using a catch pole to snag her, but she's too quick. Finally, they decide to use the Gator Gauntlet.

The Gator Gauntlet is a custom-made trap with a long, narrow opening that the alligator can swim through. Once the gator is inside, the opening will close, trapping her in the cage. The trap is so effective that even the largest alligators cannot escape once they're inside.

The Gator Boys position the trap near the gator and slowly move it towards her. She seems hesitant at first, but after a few minutes, she swims right into their trap. The Gator Boys quickly close the opening and secure the trap shut.

With the gator safely captured, the Gator Boys transport her to a nearby facility where they can examine her and keep her until she's ready to lay her eggs. They estimate that she has over 100 eggs inside of her, so it's important that they handle her with care.

At the facility, the Gator Boys begin to examine the mama gator. They check her eyes, mouth, and teeth to make sure she's healthy and in good condition. They also take measurements and determine that she weighs over 650 pounds.

After the exam, the Gator Boys move the alligator into a custom-made enclosure where she can relax and prepare to lay her eggs. The enclosure is equipped with a heated pool and plenty of space for her to move around.

The Gator Boys will keep the alligator in captivity until her eggs hatch, and then they'll release her back into the wild. It's just another day in the life of the Gator Boys - saving one gator at a time.
