Ep 5. Stanley Hotel

As the fourth season of Ghost Adventures continues, the team heads to Estes Park, Colorado to investigate the historic Stanley Hotel. Built in 1909, the hotel is famous for inspiring Stephen King's novel The Shining and has a reputation for being one of the most haunted locations in the world.

The episode begins with an introduction to the hotel's history, including the story of its founder, F.O. Stanley, and his wife Flora. The couple built the hotel as a luxury destination for wealthy travelers, and it quickly became known for its elegance and grandeur. However, over the years, guests and staff members have reported a range of paranormal activity, from strange noises and cold spots to full-bodied apparitions and ghostly voices.

The Ghost Adventures team arrives at the hotel in the dead of night, eager to investigate its haunted reputation. They start off by exploring the lobby and main staircase, where they immediately pick up on some unusual energy. They use various pieces of equipment, including EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recorders and thermal cameras, to try to capture evidence of any ghosts or spirits.

As they move through the hotel, the team discovers a number of "hot spots" that seem to be particularly active. These include the room where Stephen King stayed when he was inspired to write The Shining, as well as a basement area where some guests have reported seeing apparitions. The team sets up cameras and other equipment in these areas, hoping to capture evidence of any supernatural activity.

Throughout the investigation, the team experiences a number of creepy and unsettling moments. They hear strange noises, see mysterious shadows moving across the walls, and even feel cold drafts in rooms that should be warm. At one point, they use a spirit box (a device that scans radio frequencies and supposedly allows ghosts to communicate) to try to make contact with any spirits that might be present. They hear a number of strange and unexplained voices, which they interpret as evidence of paranormal activity.

As the investigation continues, the team becomes increasingly convinced that the Stanley Hotel is indeed haunted. They gather a range of evidence, including EVP recordings, video footage, and photographs, that they believe support this theory. However, even with all of this evidence, they acknowledge that there is still a great deal that remains unknown about the hotel's paranormal activity.

In the end, the team finishes their investigation and bids farewell to the Stanley Hotel. They reflect on the strange and eerie experiences they had while there, and speculate about what might be causing the supernatural activity in this historic location. While we may never know for sure what goes bump in the night at the Stanley Hotel, the Ghost Adventures team has certainly left us with plenty of chilling evidence to ponder.
