Ep 15. Big Brother

Blaine's big brother Cooper Anderson (guest star Matt Bomer) visits Lima and gives a master class in acting to the New Directions. Meanwhile, Santana and Brittany plan a party that causes controversy, and Rachel tries to find out what a "perfect" song for her voice is. Cooper makes a big impression on the New Directions with his experience as a Hollywood actor and encourages them to follow their dreams. Brittany and Santana's party is criticized by members of the Glee Club as being too shallow and materialistic. Rachel struggles with finding a song that showcases her voice, but eventually comes to a decision with the help of Kurt. Cooper's visit ends on a sour note when he reveals that he has not been successful in his acting career and encourages Blaine to reconsider his dream of being a performer. The episode features a performance of the iconic song "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye.
