Ep 8. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the eighth episode of the fourth season of Glee. The Thanksgiving holiday has arrived and the New Directions are getting ready to celebrate. But while excitement is in the air, tension and drama are also brewing.

Rachel is excited to have her dads over for Thanksgiving, but they break the news that they are getting a divorce, leaving her heartbroken. Meanwhile, Finn is avoiding Rachel and feeling lost without any direction in his life. Will tries to offer him some guidance, but Finn is resistant to his advice.

Marley is feeling the pressure of trying to fit in with her new friends and eat to excess on Thanksgiving, but she is scared about losing control and letting her eating disorder get the best of her. Jake reaches out to her and offers his support.

Blaine's brother Cooper comes to town for the holiday, causing tension between the two as they compete for attention and approval. Meanwhile, Brittany is asked to spend Thanksgiving with Santana's family and is nervous about fully coming out to them.

The episode features several musical numbers, including a rendition of "Homeward Bound/Home" by Finn, a duet of "Let's Have a Kiki/Turkey Lurkey Time" by Isabelle and Kurt, and a mashup of "Come See About Me/You're My Everything" by The Supremes performed by the New Directions.

Thanksgiving explores the struggles of family, acceptance, and self-acceptance.
