Greek is an American comedy-drama television series, that first premiered on ABC Family channel, now known as FreeForm, on July 9, 2007, and ran until March 7, 2011. The show features a cast of young, talented actors including Clark Duke, Spencer Grammer, Jake McDorman, Scott Michael Foster, and Paul James, among others.

The series revolves around the lives of college students belonging to the Greek system, one of the many fraternities or sororities, at the fictional Cyprus-Rhodes University. It explores the ups and downs of life on a college campus, with a particular focus on the social dynamics of Greek life.

The story centers around Rusty Cartwright (played by Jake McDorman), who is a nerdy and socially awkward freshman at Cyprus-Rhodes University. In an attempt to reinvent himself and experience the wild college life he has always dreamed of, Rusty decides to pledge to a fraternity. He chooses Kappa Tau Gamma or KT, the notorious fraternity known for throwing some of the wildest parties on campus.

However, his sister, Casey (played by Spencer Grammer), who is president of the most popular and rigid sorority Zeta Beta Zeta or ZBZ, warns him that Greek life can be a double-edged sword, and the fraternity he has chosen is not trustworthy. Casey is the perfect sorority girl, ambitious, intelligent, and knows all the right people, but she is also controlling and expects everyone around her to live up to her high standards.

The show explores the relationship between Rusty and Casey, who come from different worlds but have a deep bond as siblings. As Rusty navigates his way through the Greek system, he faces many challenges, including hazing, competition, and romance. Along the way, he meets a variety of interesting characters, including Cappie (played by Scott Michael Foster), the leader of KT, who is laid-back, carefree, and always up for a good time.

The show also tackles some of the serious issues faced by college students, such as academic pressure, dating, sexuality, and loyalty. It offers a unique perspective on the ins and outs of the Greek system, dispelling many of the stereotypes associated with it.

Throughout the series, the characters grow and evolve as they face different challenges and learn valuable lessons about life, friendship, and love. Rusty and Casey both discover who they are and what they want out of life, and the audience gets to see them grow up and mature in front of their eyes.

Greek is a witty, enjoyable, and engaging series that will appeal to anyone who has ever been to college or wondered what it's like to be part of a fraternity or sorority. The show has a strong cast, excellent writing, and a great soundtrack that will keep viewers entertained from beginning to end. So, if you want to experience college life through the eyes of the Greek system, Greek is the perfect show to watch.

Greek is a series that is currently running and has 4 seasons (74 episodes). The series first aired on July 9, 2007.
