Ep 20. The Inheritance

Nick, Hank, and Juliette are investigating a case where a wealthy man, Richard, has died in his home, Winnick Estate. His estranged adopted son, Trevor, comes to Portland to claim his inheritance but gets more than he bargained for when he discovers a Wesen treasure hidden in the house, and it comes with a curse. Meanwhile, Monroe and Rosalee are trying to prepare for their wedding and balance family matters. But, things take a turn for the worse when Rosalee is called to help Nick and Juliette with the Wesen curse and secrets from her and Monroe's past come back to haunt them.

The episode starts with Trevor arriving in Portland and immediately trying to claim his inheritance from his father's lawyer. However, the lawyer informs Trevor that there is a stipulation in the will that states he must live in the house for six months before he can claim his inheritance. Meanwhile, Monroe and Rosalee are trying to plan their wedding, but they are having a difficult time balancing their family matters. Monroe's parents do not approve of Rosalee because she is a Fuchsbau, and Rosalee's father is still upset with Monroe for leaving the family business. As they try to handle these issues, Rosalee gets a call from Juliette and Nick, asking for her help with the Wesen curse. Rosalee and Monroe are both hesitant to get involved because they know the risks, but they ultimately decide to help Nick and Juliette.

As the episode unfolds, secrets from Rosalee and Monroe's past are revealed. They both have ties to the Wesen treasure, and they must confront their past mistakes to help Nick and Juliette.
