Guilty at 17 is a thriller television movie that aired on Lifetime in 2014. The movie, directed by Anthony Lefresne, stars Erin Sanders, Alex Paxton-Beesley, and Catherine Dent in lead roles. The plot is centered around the life of a teenager, troubled by an unfortunate incident that threatens to change her life forever.

The movie begins with a scene where 17-year-old Bianca Miller (Erin Sanders), a high school senior, attends a party at her boyfriend's house. While there, she becomes intoxicated and loses her consciousness. The next morning, she wakes up to find the surroundings in disarray, and her boyfriend's body (Zane Holtz) next to her, lifeless. She assumes that she has killed him and flees the scene in a state of panic.

Bianca's tragic mistake sets in motion a chain of events that leads to a game of cat and mouse between her and a relentless detective, Heather Blair (Catherine Dent), who is determined to unravel the mystery of the death of the young boy. Heather is a hard-boiled detective who will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of this case. She is assisted by her partner, Ralph Geiger (Michael Woods), who helps her put together the pieces of the puzzle.

As the story unfolds, we learn that Bianca's boyfriend died of a drug overdose and that Bianca was in no way responsible for his death. However, the events that follow make it seem like she is guilty of murder, and the finger of suspicion points squarely at her. What follows is a series of twists and turns that will keep the viewer guessing until the very end.

Bianca goes on the run, and Heather tracks her down to a motel where she is hiding. Bianca reluctantly confesses that she was at the party, but has no memory of what happened afterward. They then start working together to figure out what happened that fateful night. As they investigate, they stumble upon some shocking revelations that threaten to shake the core of the case.

In the meantime, Bianca's mother, Karina Miller (Alex Paxton-Beesley), is desperately searching for her daughter, which leads her to discover some uncomfortable truths about her daughter's past. Bianca has not had an easy life; her father has been dead for many years, and her mother is struggling to make ends meet. Bianca has also had a dark history of drug abuse, and this has affected her relationships with her friends and family.

As the movie progresses, Bianca and Heather get closer to discovering the truth about what happened that night. They uncover significant evidence that points to someone else being responsible for Zane's death. However, as they close in on the killer, they face yet another twist that threatens to derail their investigation.

Guilty at 17 is a gripping thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The dramatic storyline, coupled with the outstanding performances by the cast, make for an enthralling viewing experience. Erin Sanders delivers an excellent performance as Bianca, displaying the raw emotions of a scared and vulnerable teenager, while Catherine Dent excels in her role as the determined detective who pursues justice with unrelenting fervor.

Overall, Guilty at 17 is a thought-provoking movie that touches on important issues such as drug abuse, family relationships, and the justice system. It is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys a good thriller and wants to be entertained whilst pondering the moral and ethical dilemmas of the story.
