A unusual and rare planetary alingment is set to cause the full moon to remove a mermaids powers if they enter the moon pool! Charlotte shows immunity and tries to reveal the girls secret before Lewis takes her to Mako Island. The girls follow and a battle erupts. But who will win?

Angry over the short friendship with the girls, Charlotte forces Lewis to choose between her and his friends. This results in Cleo to feel isolated and she runs away and gets lost. When he is informed, Lewis must make up his mind: Cleo or Charlotte?

More friction arises, this time over Lewis' birthday party. Charlotte takes control and drives Rikki away from the party. However, things go out of hand and it is up to her to save the day.

Charlotte is determined to prove her love for Lewis and show she is better than the other three, and refuses their advice and takes matters into her own hands when Nate causes trouble for Lewis.

The girls decide that they should accept Charlotte, and the four work together when they need to join the volleyball team to avoid failing Physical Education.

Charlotte's stubborn nature and thirst for knowledge leads her to Max, who confirms her suspicions and leads her to the Moon Pool. Lewis meanwhile is having trouble trying to keep their relationship together.

Charlotte demands answers to why Lewis is hanging out with the girls so much. She starts to believe an excuse from Cleo, but then a discovery from inside Max's research brings her to the secret! Meanwhile, Ash decides to help Emma with her "fear of water"

Lewis is trying to find more information on the moon pool and stumbles across research on it by Max Hamilton from fifty years ago. Will Lewis reveal the girls secret to him in order to complete the puzzle?

A year has passed since the girls have become mermaids and Cleo wants to celebrate but Zane accidentally tumbles into Emma making a juice drop on to her after that Ash gets angry at Zane making Emma and Rikki argue as well.

Emma has feelings for Ash but Emma hesitates because of her being a mermaid and doesnt want to tell him. Rikki and Cleo think different and arrange that Ash make a romantic dinner for Emma but when Ash arrives the moon reflects on a silver dish and affects Cleo.

Once again Lewis comes to the rescue.

Elliot asks Lewis for advice about girls, since he plans to ask one out on a date. It turns out to be Cleo's sister and as she accepts Cleo goes as a chaperone and Lewis goes two as a wing man to elliot. Cleo gets wet on the water park and lewis comes to her rescue.

Zane's discover a perfume but it really is an extract that effects only on mermaids and it smells really bad. Zane shows it to Lewis and leave it on a table.

Cleo push Lewis first but not out of love just because she felt different being a mermaid and Charlotte took that chance and went after Lewis now Cleo is realizing what she has done and she wants him back on the other hand Emma's suggested that her job needed a manager but it turns out as the owner took that advice he didn't gave the position to Emma.

Cleo's father planned a camping trip at Mako Island and to top it up on a full moon. Lewis fears for the girls and they ended all going there, Emma, Rikki and even Charlote.

Emma goes to a feeding frenzy after been cut with a coral.

Rikki's family is having finances problems and may be forced to move at the same time a sunken boat has some valuable that the reward may help her family, when Zane told Rikki about the treasure hunt she didn't hesitate to agree.

Charlotte has separated Lewis from the girls, when Cleo needed the most and since she used to study with him she now strugle with her grades.

Emma uses her healing powers to cure an ill horse when she meets up with an attractive riding instructor. Elsewhere, Lewis accidentally invites two women, Charlotte and Cleo, to an awards dinner.

Zane is curious by Rikki's reluctancy to reveal where she lives. So one day, he eventually convinces her to reveal her home: a trailer park with her grouchy father. Meanwhile, Cleo has to deal with some personal issues with Lewis and Charlotte regarding a jacket.

Cleo loose her job coincidently Lewis needs a Job to repair his computer and guess whos job she got?....

Charlotte's back and Cleo's jelous and when the girls see Charlotte talking to lewis they use their powers to ruin the mood.

Lewis has found a book that says how Mermaids can grant whishes but things turns bad as the experiment progress.

Emma's parents go away for the weekend and Rikki is staying over.
Emma fills she need to proof she can be wild and do a party on her house.
On the other hand Lewis toughen up practicing martial arts trying to proof Cleo he can be stronger

The girls agree to be safe but as Zane's reapear Rikki as curious as she is couldnt stay away from him.

The girls take control of their new enhanced powers, meanwhile Brittany Byrnes as Charlotte, Lewis new friend is getting to close to him.
What will happend with Lewis and Cleo. Guess will have to wait and see.

New Season and thing are changing. The girl's powers are increasing and they have to learn to control they newly enhanced powers. On their confusion they decide not to have boyfriends until they sort things out.

The hunt for the now identified mermaids intensifies as Dr Denman sets a trap for the girls at Macco Island forcing Zane to make a decision about where his loyalties lie. A lunar eclipse gives the girls an opportunity to free themselves from further pursuit by sacrificing their powers.

The prospect of going on vacation to a resort with her family doesn't sit well with Emma and her excuses don't go over well with her parents or brother who are all looking forward to their annual trip. The return of marine biologist Dr Denman [episode 8] concerns Lewis and the girls but Zane sees a possible ally (or worse, a competitor) in the search for his mermaid. With Macco Island firmly in Denman's sights, the girls' secret is on the verge of being blown out of the water.

With the school dance approaching, Emma and Cleo are fretting about having to ask Byron and Lewis to go with them, relying on the boys to make the first move. But Byron doesn't ask Emma, who he thinks is too busy heading up the organising committee, and Lewis is too caught up in his work on a new scientific way to make it easier for the girls to be mermaids by making them waterproof. Only when Cleo leaves for the dance with Nate does Lewis realise his mistake. Has Lewis missed his chance with Cleo and might his untested waterproofing spray ruin the evening for everyone?

History may be repeating itself as Rikki's ability to keep the girls' secret is tested when she discovers a locket identical to Miss Chatham's in a jeweller's shop. She desperately wants the locket but is unable to tell Zane why it is so important. When Miriam buys it first, Rikki's fierce determination to get it back further draws out Zane's suspicions.

Rikki's date with Zane becomes a subject of speculation for Emma and Cleo. Concerned about Zane's trustfulness, Emma gives Rikki an ultimatum: her and Cleo or Zane. It's a choice Rikki resents being asked to make and it quickly drives a wedge between the girls. Harrison Bennett's unveiling of plans to develop Macco Island realigns feelings as Emma joins Rikki's vocal opposition and Zane takes a stand against his father. Cleo attempts to liberate herself by thinning her wardrobe.

An innocent comment about her dependable nature convinces Emma she needs a change—and what better way to start than to colour her hair. Zane's sea monster investigation leads him to Miss Chatham who he's convinced is at the centre of the mystery. Emma's attempt to protect Miss Chatham's secret provides Zane with his first clear look at a mermaid. Rikki agrees to go out with Zane on the condition he stop his talk about mermaids, an easy deal for Zane to make.

Lewis' excitement about testing his new lure in the annual fishing derby is quelled by Cleo's refusal to renew their traditional partnership for fear of getting wet. When Lewis struggles, Cleo decides to use her mermaid powers help Lewis land the "big one" but when he is accussed of cheating, he is kicked out of the competition by Cleo's father and forbidden from seeing her again. Rikki and Zane encounter one another at a business seminar and get trapped on a balcony. The time alone together allows them to get to know one another better, perhaps a little too well when the rain starts falling.

The arrival of Cleo and Kim's cousin Angela is seen by the girls' father as an opportunity for Cleo to learn some maturity and responsibility. However, chaperoning a headstrong girl with a fondness for water quickly brings on its challenges and coupled with a kidnapped pelican, makes for an eventfull day. At the end of the day howver, Cleo and her sister to begin appreciate one another... at least temporarily.

Haunted by his experience with the "sea monster", Zane steps up his investigation which leads him to Macco Island. Lewis' efforts to help the girls prepare for the night's full moon go for naught as Rikki catches a glimpses of the full moon causing her to lose control of her powers. Emma, Cleo and Lewis follow her to Macco Island where Zane has already found a distraught Rikki.

A sudden thunderstorm forces the girls to feign illness to stay home from school but in faking their symptoms too well they attract the attention of doctors eager to study their rare tropical disease. As the number of people in quarantine grows, Emma's sister Kim begins to suspect a ruse but a more serious threat develops when a containment unit arrives to take them to hospital for study forcing Emma to admit everything.

Cleo attracts the attention of a new dolphin at the marine park but rumours of her new boyfriend have her family and friends determined to discover the identity of Cleo's mysterious boyfriend. Events come to a head when Kim overhears Cleo on the phone and comes to the conclusion she's run away to elope with Zane. Meanwhile, Zane uses Cleo to gain access to the marine park's library to continue his sea monster research.

Emma is excelling at her new job at the JuiceNet cafe but when Wilfred leaves her in charge for an entire weekend, her no nonsense managerial style puts her at odds with her newest employee Rikki. Miriam becomes the victim of her own scheming when Emma accidentally freezes her in the cafe's cool room forcing the girls to put aside their differences to defrost Miriam.

Cleo is counting the days until her 16th birthday and her big day can only be ruined by one thing - another of her father's embarrassing birthday parties. Zane embarks on a hunt for the "sea monster" he saw when he nearly drowned and recruits Lewis to help, but he's promised the girls to do everything he can to keep Zane well away from them and Macco Island.

When Zane causes the enigmatic Miss Catham to be evicted from her boat, Emma invites to stay at her home. Overhearing her concern for her "treasure", Zane chases after Miss Catham seeking compensation for his damaged jetski when she departs the marina. Emma and Lewis arrive in time to help with a medical emergency but when Zane gets trapped on the sinking boat, Emma must risk the water to save him.

After her humiliating karaoke performance, Cleo's sudden newfound singing ability on the night of a full moon gives her friends cause for concern. When she develops a mysterious Siren-like hold over the opposite sex, a sudden rush of admirers gives Cleo the audience she's dreamed of while her panicked father struggles to control the growing crowd.

Byron asks Emma for training help prior to the school swimming meet. After initially turning him down, she changes her mind but becomes a "heavy training dragon", all the while insisting to Rikki and Cleo that her interest has nothing to do with spending time with Byron and everything to do with seeing Zane defeated. Lewis continues his experiments on the girls but Rikki doesn't like being treated like a specimen and does her best to disrupt his research.

A short film contest on the subject of heroes captures the focus of the girls' attention but a film about Emma's mother isn't Rikki's idea of fun and she decides to use her abilities to capture some impressive underwater footage. Inelligible to compete himself, Zane recruits Lewis to document a recreation of his father's famous windsurfing trip to Macco Island.

Rikki lands a seemingly harmless job collecting rare fish, but when she learns the man who hired her doesn't work for the marine park but is instead a dealer selling the fish for big profits, she decides to take on the task of setting things right.

The girls reluctantly agree to let Lewis get a research assistant position with a marine biologist hoping to determine what's behind their transformation but the girls have cause for concern when his enthusiasm may cause him to reveal too much information. After leaving behind a DNA sample from Cleo, Lewis is soon offered a lucrative job and has a choice to make about his future. Despite concerns about the motives behind the offer, Cleo is perhaps more upset that the decision is not as difficult for Lewis to make as she had hoped.

Cleo receives a cryptic warning but doesn't know quite what to make of it until Emma comes under the spell of the full moon during her father's birthday party and is unable to change back from a mermaid.

Rikki risks exposing herself while babysitting Emma's brother Elliot when he get's into trouble surfing. The girls turn to Lewis for advice when Elliot develops a crush on Rikki but the abrasive Rikki has a hard time letting him down gently resulting in him running away.

Cleo's secret diary falls in to her sister's hands and her suspicions quickly become a plot to expose Cleo and rest of the "evil mermaids" during the Miss Sea Queen pageant. Lewis travels to Macco Island to try to find out the the cause of the girls' transformation.

Emma travels back to Macco Island where she finds a mysterious necklace at the bottom of the moonpool. The risks associated with Cleo's new job at the marine park give her friends ause for concern but Cleo's determination to lead a normal life helps convince Emma to set aside her own concerns and go ahead with her annual sleepover party. Lewis experiments to determine what will change the girls.

Cleo doesn't really want to swim but after her friends told her that her father's boat are catching turtles she refuses to believe it so after hearing that the captain is a replacement she goes in the water

There is a pool party and Cleo goes to it just because she thinks a friend is going. The bully throws Cleo to the pool and leave giving her just seconds to figure out how to get out of this one.Rikki learns on this episode how to use her power.Cleo can manage water, Emma freezes water and Rikki boils water.

On this episode is when it shows how the girls get their abilities on turning into mermaids when they get wet.This of course changes their lives as they used to have.
