Hack is a crime drama that originally aired on CBS from 2002 to 2004. The show focuses on the life of an ex-cop named Mike Olshansky, played by David Morse, who was forced to leave the police department due to corruption. As a result, he becomes a taxi driver in Philadelphia and uses his knowledge and skills to help people in need.

Throughout the series, Mike teams up with various individuals, including his friend Marcellus Washington, played by Andre Braugher, and a tough but caring police officer named Jamie Farrell, played by Tawny Cypress. Together, they take on various cases related to murder, kidnapping, and other serious crimes, all while navigating their own personal struggles.

Lee Tergesen plays Mike's estranged son, who is struggling with addiction and other personal demons. His character serves as a constant source of tension and conflict throughout the show, as Mike tries to reconnect with him while also dealing with his own guilt and regret.

Other notable characters include Jason Ritter as a young, idealistic lawyer who often clashes with Mike but ultimately comes to respect and admire him, and James Badge Dale as a gritty detective who has a complicated relationship with both Mike and Jamie.

Matthew Morrison, best known for his role on Glee, also appears in the show as a young man who seeks Mike's help after witnessing a murder. His character provides a glimpse into the darker side of Philadelphia's criminal underworld.

Sophina Brown and Dominic Fumusa round out the main cast as a tough-talking journalist and an ambitious district attorney, respectively. Both characters provide valuable insight into the legal and media systems that play a major role in the show's storylines.

Overall, Hack is a gripping crime drama that explores the complexities of human nature and the challenges of navigating a corrupt and often dangerous world. With a talented cast and compelling storylines, it's no wonder the show was such a hit during its brief run on CBS.
