Ep 6. Futamono

After a shocking reveal in the previous episode, "Futamono" starts off with Dr. Chilton being admitted to the hospital after being brutally attacked. Meanwhile, Will Graham is still trying to prove his innocence and catch the real killer.

Hannibal, on the other hand, continues to manipulate the situation to his advantage. He starts to plant suspicion in the mind of Dr. Bloom, who begins to question Will's mental state. Hannibal also has a few incidents with Jack, which only further fuels Jack's suspicion about him.

The main focus of the episode, however, is on a new character named Cordell. Cordell is a patient at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane and a devoted admirer of Hannibal's work. After being given a new prosthetic arm, Cordell becomes fixated on creating an elaborate dinner with his own body parts as the main course.

The episode features some gruesome scenes as Cordell meticulously prepares the food (with Hannibal's guidance, of course) and invites his friends from the hospital to participate in the feast. Will, who is tasked with visiting the hospital as part of his therapy, starts to suspect that something is not quite right with Cordell's behavior.

As Will investigates, he begins to piece together a connection between Cordell and another patient at the hospital, Mason Verger. Mason is a wealthy and sadistic man who was previously treated by Hannibal. Will suspects that Mason and Cordell have teamed up to create a particularly twisted plan.

Meanwhile, Jack continues to be on Hannibal's trail. He visits Hannibal's home and discovers some incriminating evidence. As a result, Jack starts to push Hannibal even further, but Hannibal remains unfazed and instead uses the situation to his advantage.

The episode ends with a dramatic confrontation between multiple characters, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats and eager to see what happens next. "Futamono" is a thrilling and suspenseful episode that builds on the already complex relationships between the characters.
