Ep 7. False Prophets

Cullen Bohannon continues his search for Mei, the woman he loves who was taken by the Chinese workers who are building the railroad. Cullen's journey takes him to the town of Brigham City, where he encounters a group of religious fanatics calling themselves The White Spirit. The group's leader, Prophet Josiah, claims to have the power to heal the sick and injured, and his followers are devoted to him.

As Cullen explores the town, he discovers that The White Spirit is not what it seems. The town's sheriff, who is also a member of the group, tells Cullen that many people have come to Brigham City seeking Josiah's healing powers, only to be exploited and left worse off than they were before. Cullen also learns that Mei is among the sick and injured who have been brought to Brigham City.

Cullen's attempt to rescue Mei is complicated by the fact that The White Spirit sees him as a threat. As tensions between The White Spirit and Cullen escalate, Mei's condition worsens. Cullen must navigate Brigham City's treacherous politics and find a way to save Mei before it's too late. He also confronts his own demons as he grapples with the question of whether he should stay in Brigham City and help the people there or continue his search for a better life elsewhere.
