Ep 4. The Kindness of Strangers

The Kindness of Strangers is the fourth episode of the second season of Heroes. The episode features multiple storylines following the central characters. Peter and Caitlin, who are still in Ireland, are on their way to meet Nathan, Peter's brother. However, they get caught up in a robbery attempt at an Irish pub and end up getting arrested. Mohinder discovers an undiscovered message from his father, leading him to further investigate his father's work.

The episode begins with Peter and Caitlin in Ireland, where they are on a mission to find Peter's brother, Nathan, who they believe can help save the world. They end up at a pub where they witness a robbery attempt. Peter attempts to diffuse the situation using his powers, but it only makes things worse, resulting in both of them getting arrested.

Meanwhile, back in New York, Hiro is stuck in 1671, where he is still on a mission to find Kensei. He gets taken in by Kensei's people, and we get some backstory on Kensei's character and his initial meeting with Hiro. The flashbacks give more insight into the origins of Hiro and Kensei's relationship which has been a recurring theme in season two.

Back in New York, Claire is settling into college life and has a new roommate, West. However, things quickly get complicated when West reveals he has powers of his own. He confronts Claire about her abilities, leading to a conflict between them. Claire also tries to navigate a complex relationship with her father, who is protective of her from the dangers that come along with having powers.

Mohinder is still trying to piece together his father's research, and in this episode, he discovers an undiscovered message from his father, leading him to believe that his father may have discovered a cure for the virus that is affecting the heroes.

The main storyline in this episode revolves around Peter and Caitlin, who are in danger after being arrested in Ireland. They are saved by a mysterious stranger who bails them out of jail.
