Meanwhile, Yoo Min-kyu (played by Kim Jin-woo), Kwon Hyuk-soo's illegitimate son, slowly becomes integrated into the family. Despite initial resistance from his half-siblings, Yoo Min-kyu's sincere and earnest personality begins to soften their hearts. He goes out of his way to help and support them whenever he can, earning their respect and admiration.

Confronted with the truth about their father's other child, Jin Hyun-soo (played by Ryoo Hye-rin) and Jin Hyun-jin (played by Seo Ji-seung), Kwon Hyuk-soo's legitimate daughters, struggle to come to terms with their father's actions. Faced with feelings of betrayal and confusion, they question their own identities and place within the family.

Amidst the family drama, the future of the family business hangs in the balance. Kwon Dae-shik (played by Jang Hang-sun), Kwon Hyuk-soo's brother-in-law and business partner, suggests selling their property to resolve their financial woes. However, Kwon Hyuk-soo adamantly opposes the idea, determined to find alternative solutions that will preserve the family legacy.
