Ep 7. Trauma x Limit x Sweet Trap

Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio arrive at a seemingly peaceful and quiet town called Trick Tower in order to take the next phase of the Hunter Exam. Unbeknownst to them, the tower houses multiple challenges and tests that will test their abilities and push them to their limits. The first challenge they face is a survival test, where they must survive on a single floor with limited food and resources for a whole week.

As the trio struggles to survive, they encounter other participants who have made alliances and have formed groups in order to increase their chances of passing the test. One such group is comprised of Tonpa, a seasoned Hunter Exam participant who has failed six times before, and two other participants named Majtani and Sedokan. The group appears friendly and offers to share their food and resources with Gon and the others. However, as the week progresses, it becomes clear that their intentions may not be as pure as they first appeared.

Meanwhile, the examiners of the test reveal that in addition to surviving the week, the participants must also capture their opponent's number tags. Each participant has been assigned a set of numbers and must protect them while trying to steal their opponents' numbers. The number tags are crucial for passing the test and are the only way for the participants to advance to the next phase.

Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio soon find themselves at a disadvantage when Tonpa and his group betray them and steal their number tags. However, they refuse to give up and continue to fight for their survival and for a chance to pass the test. Despite the odds, Gon and the others manage to outsmart the other participants and reclaim their number tags, securing their passage to the next phase of the exam.

But just as they think they've passed the test, they are confronted with one final challenge: a game of chance that will determine their fate. The participants must choose between two doors, one leading to freedom and the other leading to the next phase of the exam. However, one of the doors is rigged and will send the participants back to the beginning of the tower, forcing them to take the test over again. With their future hanging in the balance, Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio must make a difficult decision and face the consequences of their actions.

In Trauma x Limit x Sweet Trap, the importance of trust and strategy is emphasized, as the participants learn that not everyone is what they seem and that alliances can quickly change. The episode serves as a turning point for the series, as the trio of main characters are faced with their first major obstacle and must rely on each other in order to survive.
