Immortal Grand Prix is an animated television series that originally aired on Cartoon Network from 2005 to 2006. The show was produced by Bandai Visual and Production I.G. and was created by Koichi Mashimo. The show is set in the future where major corporations rule the world and have replaced professional sports with the Immortal Grand Prix (IGPX), a high-speed racing competition. The teams are made up of giant mechs, called IG Machines, which are controlled by skilled pilots.

The story follows Team Satomi, a underdog team made up of Takeshi Jin, Liz Ricarro, and Amy Stapleton, as they compete in the IGPX against the top teams in the league. Along their journey, they face challenges both on and off the track, and discover the true meaning of teamwork and determination.

The main character, Takeshi Jin, is the team captain and pilot of the IG Machine, Sleipnir. Takeshi is a talented pilot but struggles with self-doubt and pressure, which affects his performance on the track. Liz Ricarro is the team mechanic and strategist, and plays a vital role in developing and improving their IG Machine. Amy Stapleton is the team's manager and caretaker, and keeps the team focused and motivated.

The other teams in the league include Team Sledge Mamma, a ruthless and aggressive team who will do whatever it takes to win; Team Black Egg, a mysterious and powerful team who's origins are unknown; and Team Skylark, a team who values sportsmanship and fair play above all else.

The show features intense and thrilling racing sequences with speeds reaching over 700 MPH. The animation is fluid and dynamic, accentuating the sense of speed and movement. The mechs are designed to look like a cross between a race car and a sci-fi robot, and each team's IG Machine has its own unique design and characteristics.

In addition to the racing, the show explores themes of friendship, teamwork, and determination. Takeshi's struggle with self-confidence and pressure is a prominent theme throughout the show, and his journey towards self-acceptance and growth is a driving force for the team's success.

The show also features a diverse and talented voice cast, including Kirk Thornton, Jamieson Price, Lex Lang, Joshua Seth, Julie Maddalena, Sandy Fox, Steve Kramer, and Wendee Lee. The voice acting is top-notch and brings the characters to life.

Overall, Immortal Grand Prix is an exciting and engaging animated series that is sure to appeal to fans of racing and sci-fi. With its thrilling races, dynamic animation, and compelling characters, it is a must-watch for anyone looking for a fun and exciting adventure.
