In Impractical Jokers season 6 episode 4, titled "Wrong Playwright," the four comedians Joe, Q, Murr, and Sal continue their mischievous shenanigans in public. The episode opens with the guys discussing their next challenge, which requires them to perform in front of an audience as part of a theatrical production. However, the catch is that each joker will assume the identity of a different playwright, but there's a twist. Instead of performing their own work, they will recite the play of another playwright in front of a real theater crowd.

The first challenge of the episode has Sal tasked with trying to impress the audience with a reenactment of Samuel Beckett's 'Waiting for Godot.' However, to make things even more difficult for him, he has no idea what the play is about. At the same time, Murr is given the task of portraying Harold Pinter and performing one of his plays in front of an audience. Joe has to take on Tennessee Williams, and Q has to perform a famous David Mamet play.

While the guys are all nervous about their respective gigs, things quickly go downhill for Sal when he realizes he knows absolutely nothing about 'Waiting for Godot.' He tries to stall time before the play starts, asking the theater staff about the play's plot and even reading character bios from the playbill. However, the show must go on, and Sal has no choice but to wing it. He ad-libs his way through the play, trying to mimic the looks and body language of Beckett's two main characters, Vladimir and Estragon. After the play is over, the jokers meet up to discuss how they fared.

The second challenge sees the guys hitting the streets to take part in a classic Impractical Jokers bit: name dropping. Each joker has to go up to a stranger and pretend to know them from somewhere. They can mention any made-up scenario, like meeting at a party or working together years ago. The stranger has to play along, no matter what name or story the joker comes up with.

Joe starts off strong and manages to convince a man that they met via a mutual friend. He even gets the guy to take a selfie with him. Murr has a tough time convincing his stranger, who is initially skeptical. But in the end, Murr manages to pull it off and gets his stranger to confess that he has no clue who Murr is. Q manages to fool his guy with a story about how they met outside a 7-11 one late night, and Sal, typically, has a disastrous outing, getting rejected multiple times.

In the final challenge, the jokers head to a bookstore where they have to look for fake book titles hidden among real ones. The catch is that they have to do this while asking other customers for advice on which books they should read. The jokers implant themselves in the store and start taking turns looking for books while interacting with unsuspecting customers. Some of the ridiculous book titles include "The Beer Belly Diet" and "How to Be a Doctor Without Going to Medical School."

Overall, Impractical Jokers season 6 episode 4 is a fun addition to the series, with plenty of laughs and awkward situations. The Playwright challenge is a great way to see how the jokers react to being put in uncomfortable situations, while the name-dropping bit and the bookstore task deliver some classic Impractical Jokers humor. Fans of the show will undoubtedly enjoy this episode and come away with some laughs.
