This show was inspired by a web site that featured beautiful woman who were dating obnoxious and very disrespectful men. Reality star Nicole Elizabeth "Snooki" Polizzi was one of the first to appear on this show with her then boyfriend Justin.

As a reality show, it introduces a couple and after seeing the behavior of the guys, it poses the question as to whether or not she plans on staying with her misbehaving boyfriend. The goal of this show is not to encourage the relationship to continue but instead to open up the eyes of the girlfriend to see his real behavior.

The couples that appear on the show admit that the behavior of the boyfriend is ruining the relationship. They agree to have the cameras follow the boyfriend around while he continues to do what he already does on an everyday basis. The girls are than showing what their boyfriends do when they are not around.

The men in this show believe that their unique sense of style, popularity and self-proclaimed good looks give them the right to treat their girlfriends in a less than desirable manner. They are taped while they are getting ready to go out for an evening, hanging around with his friends and attending parties. All aspects of their behavior are caught on tape.

The girls in the show are considered the more popular and physically attractive girls.They have a wide circle of friends and family that typically do not like the way the boyfriend is treating her. While their boyfriend is out, her friends try to help her understand why she puts up with the behavior.

At the end of the show, the girlfriends are shown what their boyfriends were doing while they were out. This includes everything from flirting with other girls, bad mouthing their girlfriends to others and acting as if they were single. The girlfriend is then asked to re-evaluate the relationship and decide if they will stay with the boyfriend or part ways.
